2015  Today was an exciting day at MARQUEZ MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY with the testing of Jill Buckner Marquez for her 1st Dan Black Belt. An incredible journey over the many years of sacrifice and training. I am incredibly proud of you. A special thank you to the testing board members Soke Frank Sanchez, Shihan Jimmy Rutherford, Shihan Chris Marquez, Sensei Nathaniel Hart (as Uke also), and Sensei David Ellis for your time and collective wisdom; Patricia Wong for your help as an Uke and the magnificent cake.
